The Firefly Campfire Night Hike

Patch visited the Churchville Nature Center's firefly campfire night hike.

There was a fun evening of roasting marshmallows by an open campfire and hiking the trails of the after dark while catching fireflies.

Peggy Mongillo, the Nature Center's education director, told Patch that 61 people turned out for the event. It was a good turnout of families bringing there children where all learned about fireflies, glow worms and other nocturnal life at the Nature Center.
