The wife of convicted child molestor Jerry Sundusky is speaking out for the first time since her husband's arrest and conviction.

Matt Lauer interviewed Dottie Sandusky in a pre-recorded interview that will air Wednesday on the Today show.

Jerry Sandusky, a former assistant coach at Penn State, was convicted in June 2012 of 45 counts of child sexual abuse, and is serving 30 to 60 years in state prison.

There has long been speculation about what Dottie Sandusky did or did not know about her husband's crimes. Melinda Henneberger asked in Washington Post story around the time of Jerry Sandusky's conviction, "Does Dottie Sandusky deserve a jail cell of her own?"

The Today show says Dottie Sandusky will respond to those statements and allegations in the interview.

When will these people go away? She knew exactly what was going on. Sandusky is scum of the earth and should be repeatedly raped in prison. Penn state should be burned to the ground for their blatant disregard for those kids.

When she admitted that she KNEW her husband was bathing with ANY boy -- she became complicit in these crimes. NO WOMAN -- NONE -- thinks that it's okay for a grown elderly man to bath with a young boy -- and Lauer should have pounced on that and asked her if SHE was okay with him bathing with all these boys? And the guy at Penn State -- saw Sandusky doing things to that boy in the Penn State locker room. And it was a BOY -- not a man. And the thought that Corbett let this criminal skate for YEARS is repulsive and grounds for him being booted for dereliction of duty when he was PA's attorney general. It's all disgusting -- and I'm glad that Sandusky is in a high security prison -- I only wish they'd take his TV away. And Dottie -- he should be 'in a cage'
