Poster Contest Open to Grades 3-6

The Northampton Township Historical Society is looking for applicants for its poster contest.

School will be out for summer soon, but that doesn't mean the creative juices need to stop flowing.

The Northampton Township Historical Society is looking for local children in third through sixth grades to participate in a poster contest. The theme should reflect "What historical preservation means to you."

The contest is open to all Northampton residents in the age group and submissions must be received by May 31. Posters should be 22x28 and dropped off at the between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m until the end of the contest. Posters must have the child's name, address and a parent's phone number on the back.

The winners will have their posters honored at the June 27 Board of Supervisors meeting. First place is $50, second is $25 and third is tickets to the Fonthill Museum.
