DUI charges will be filed after a 21-year-old Holland man refused a blood test after a car crash, according to a police blotter. On Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 12:38 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle accident on Buck Road at the Railroad overpass bridge by Falcon Drive, a police report said. On arrival they found a vehicle that had struck the bridge wall and sustained disabling damage. Police cited a 19-year-old with disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness after responding to a disturbance report, according to a recent blotter. While investigating a disturbance on South Timber Drive in Holland at 4 a.m., officers encountered a 25-year-old male and 19-year-old female engaged in a verbal argument. Around 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14 a resident of the 13000 block of Bennett Place reported that a group of juveniles were in the area destroying holiday decorations. Just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, a man who walked into the Northampton Township Police Head Quarters displayed signs of intoxication and was in an agitated state over having been terminated by his employer, a police blotter said. An accident on Old Jacksonville Road in Northampton Saturday afternoon has left an Ivyland 19-year-old dead and four others injured, according to the Northampton Township Police Department. Cameron Smithwick, of Ivyland, was killed in the accident. Northampton Fire Co. Chief Adam Selisker told Phillyburbs.com that the car cut a Verizon utility pole in half and collided with a tree. Charges relating to DUI are pending after a Southampton man crashed into a utility pole, fled the scene, abandoned the vehicle in a wooded area and was found at home, police said in a recent blotter. A motorist reported witnessing a traffic crash on Chinquapin Road off of Buck Road, at 10:47 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, where a vehicle struck a utility pole and then fled the scene.
