Baby Pita was from a litter of seven, but now she's living at a North Carolina foster home until someone takes her in permanently. She's a black lab puppy who is only seven or eight weeks old. Maryanne has had a bit of a rough past. Due to unknown circumstances in her initial upbringing, she takes a while to warm up to people and trust them.
