Woman Reportedly Assaults 19-Year-Old Woman

A 43-year-old woman was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after assaulting a 19-year-old woman, police say.

 

Northampton Township Police charged a 43-year-old woman with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after she assaulted a 19-year-old woman, according to police reports.

Police responded to a reported assault at a home on the 500 block of New Road in Holland on Saturday, Oct. 6.

Upon arrival, police found that Lien Nguyen, 43 of Churchville had assaulted the 19-year-old daughter of the property owner.

Nguyen was taken into custody and transported to Northampton Township Police Department headquarters for processing, police said. She was then charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance in lieu of $5,000 bail.

The extent of the 19-year-old's injuries were not known at the time of the report. But the injuries were not life threatening.
