It has been more than a week since 20-year-old Brian Shipley went missing from his home in Holland.

While his friends and loved ones immediately made use of social media like Twitter and Facebook, they've recently released a YouTube video they're trying to spread, said Shipley's girlfriend Natalie Baladof.

They have also posted a website with photos and a description of Shipley.

The video is a compilation of pleas from his friends to return home. Some remind him of inside jokes and good times they've had together, others tell him their lights are always on for him and they need him by their sides.

Each person tells him they love and miss him.

The video ends with text that reads: "We love you. Please come home. We can figure it out together. Love, Everyone."

That is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The outpouring of pure love displayed by all those people is certainly a wonderful reason to come home. I hope and pray with all my heart that Brian finds his way back to all that love. Big hugs!

Agree with Mary Alice. This is a sad. but mystifying story. Apparently Brian left home without money or ID, and he did not have a car. Thankfully, there have been no reports of foul play or any suspicion of harm to him, which is a blessing. But, how far could he have gone without help? I hope Brian (and whomever may be helping him run away or hide) sees this video and the many messages of love and caring online for him. Praying for a happy ending to this story.

I read that there are flyers being posted around the Holland/Southampton area. I am happy to distribute around Newtown - has this already been done? I haven't noticed any around town.

The videos are very touching; let's hope and pray Brian Shipley is able to access and view them.

I have to wonder, however, why police are not trolling the waters of Lake Luxemborg and portions of the Neshaminy Creek. Perhaps they already have done so by this date (March 6, 2012). I also question whether police and residents have checked inside their sheds or old barns that seem ubiquitous in this part of Bucks County.

While the videos are sweet and well-intended, manpower is the key to finding this young man --- not at nighttime when visibility is limited, but all day long, inside unused buildings and under bodies of water.

If such efforts commence we can also pray that there are no vocal opponents present at the Supervisors Meetings in Northampton, Newtown and any other town that utilizes township funds throughout the search process.
