UPDATED: Road Closures, Power Outages

If downed trees or flooded roads cause road closures or power outages, Patch will let you know.

Updated 12:51 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30: More than 3,500 homes throughout Northampton Township are still without power, according to PECO's outage map, out of 18,000 customers.

Patch has heard from residents in Holland who said they lost power before 5 p.m. yesterday, residents from Richboro who have been without power since about 6 p.m., and some in Churchville reported losing power around 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29.

Roads Closed:

  • Old Jordan Road was closed as of 8:30 a.m. because of a tree blocking the road.
  • Holland Road between Upper Holland Road and 332 is closed due to downed wires. (Thanks to user Mike Bidwell for the updates.)

According to a message from the township, "Public Works is continuing to clean up the Northampton area."

I just drove to Giant. I'd say all of Feasterville and Holland are without power. And from the number of trees down, I'm guessing it won't be back on today.

Upper Southampton Patch editor Jennifer Mohan said that several officials have said most of Southampton will have power restored tonight, but not by a specific time. She's updating here: http://uppersouthampton.patch.com/articles/aftermath-of-sandy-in-southampton

I'm in Holland, in a development off East Holland and Buck Rds. We've been without power since Monday evening. Plus, we have no phone service---landline or cell. Any idea how they are doing getting us back up? Aside from this publication, none of the papers or the PECO site mentions anything about Holland....
