Police Cite 19-Year-Old with Public Drunkenness, Underage Drinking, Disorderly Conduct

Northampton Township Police Department released a recent blotter.

 

Police cited a 19-year-old with disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness after responding to a disturbance report, according to a recent blotter.

While investigating a disturbance on South Timber Drive in Holland at 4 a.m., officers encountered a 25-year-old male and 19-year-old female engaged in a verbal argument. The man told police that he was simply trying to leave.

The teenager, who is from Holland, was found by officers to be intoxicated and loud. After three attempts to get her to go back inside and to remain in her home, she was taken into custody and returned to Northampton Township Police Department headquarters where she was cited for disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness, before being released to a family member.

The man was picked up from the scene by a family member.
