Underage drinking, theft and a profanity carved in a car hood are in today's police blotter.

Monday, May 14: Criminal Mischief at the 200 block of Woodlake Drive

The complainant reported having parked his car in front of the residence at about 8 p.m. May 13, then sometime overnight, before 9:20 a.m., someone put a nail in his tire. No value was given for the damage. 

Criminal Mischief at the 500 block of Lower Holland Road

The property owner reported that sometime since May 13 his mailbox was damaged by unknown actor(s). No value was given for the damage.

Tuesday, May 15: Theft from Motor Vehicle on Tree Bark Lane

The victim reported that sometime between midnight and 9 a.m. May 5 unknown actor(s) had entered her unlocked vehicle that was parked in the driveway and removed $500 in cash and coins.

DUI at 2nd Street Pike and New Road

An officer on patrol at 11:40 p.m. observed a vehicle traveling south on 2nd Street Pike in the northbound lane of travel and then swerve repeatedly between the two lanes of travel. The officer stopped the vehicle on 2nd Street Pike by New Road. When he approached the vehicle, the driver was seen drinking from a bottle of beer. The driver was identified as Phillip Capaldi, 23, of Woxall, PA. His appearance and actions, along with his inability to successfully complete a series of field dexterity tests, led to his being taken into custody on suspicion of having been driving while under the influence.  He was transported to the Saint Mary Medical Center where samples of his blood were obtained for analysis. He was then taken to NTPD headquarters and processed before being released into the custody of a family member. Charges relating to DUI are pending the lab report.

 

Wednesday, May 16: Criminal Mischief at the 500 block of Beverly Road

The complainant reported that sometime between 11 a.m. May 13 and 6 p.m. May 15, the side of her vehicle had been keyed and a profanity had been carved into the hood. There was no estimate on damages.

Theft at the 100 block of West Patricia Road

The complainant reported the registration sticker had been cut off of her registration plate on her vehicle. It was unknown where the theft had occurred.

 

Thursday, May 17: Underage Drinking at the 800 block of Pulinski Road

At 12:02 a.m. officers received a report of a loud party in the area of the 800 block of Pulinski Road. While checking a home in that block, several persons fled the property on foot into the adjoining neighborhood. Three subjects were located in the rear yard of the home, all of who were under 21 years of age. Each was found to have been drinking and will be cited for violating state liquor laws. Cited were; Elyssa Drucker, 19, of Churchville; Aleksandr Mosendz, 20, of Philadelphia and Adela Ulitsky, 19, of Ivyland.

No Force Residential Burglary at the 400 block of Morgan Court

At 3:18 a.m. the complainant reported being awakened by his house alarm. On checking the home he found his garage door, which he was sure he had closed, was now open. Found missing from the home was a bag containing approximately $2000 in cash, along with a laptop computer.
