Nine Council Rock Schools Still Without Power
Council Rock School District has been closed since Monday due to Hurricane Sandy.
Nine Council Rock School District schools remain without power as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
Superintendent Mark Klein said as of noon Wednesday, the following schools are without power:
- Council Rock North
- Council Rock South
- Richboro Middle School
- Richboro Elementary School
- Maureen M. Welch Elementary School
- Hillcrest Elementary School
- Sol Feinstone Elementary School
- Newtown Elementary School
- Rolling Hills Elementary School
The district has yet to make a determination on whether school will be held Thursday.

Hillcrest's power is back (at least partial) - can see many lights in the building, parking lot, and even the traffic light at the corner is back!
