July 11: Heat Wave Relief Arrives
Here are five things to get you over the hump.
1. Weather: Finally some relief to the extreme heat. Today's going to be mostly sunny with a high near 85 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The evening will drop to a low around 65 degrees and partly cloudy skies.
2. Get over the hump of the week with a happy hour drink at Maggio's Restaurant. Specials include half-priced bottle and draft beers, mixed drinks, wine and appetizers.
3. Test your random knowledge at Quizzo at Big Heads Richboro Pub. The game starts at 9 p.m.
4. Sollunatic in Feasterville is hosting karaoke at 10 p.m. The event at the tea room and hookah lounge costs $10.
5. Holy Redeemer Women's Healthcare at Southampton is having Breast Cancer Screenings starting at 8 a.m. The screening is open to the public, and are available to women ages 40 and older who are uninsured and have not had a mammogram in the past year. Make an appointment by calling 1-800-818-4747.
