Gas Prices Rise Nearly 6 Cents Since Last Week
The best price for gas in the Northampton Patch area is about $3.32, roughly 6 cents more than last week.
Pennsylvanian's are paying about 6 cents more this week for gas than last week, according to AAA.
AAA’s weekly fuel update states that this week was the first week since early April that national gas prices rose. Locally, the best price for regular is $3.32 at USA Gas, located at 17 Street Rd., Southampton, followed by $3.46 at Sunoco at 999 2nd Street Pk. On average, that is still 10 cents cheaper than a month ago and 23 cents cheaper than a year ago, according to the report.
In the Philadelphia market, the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline is $3.455 per gallon which is: 4.9 cents higher than a week ago; 10.2 cents lower than a month ago and 24.3 cents lower than a year ago.
