So far, so good: Gasoline prices are relatively stable in this first month of 2013, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge Report.
Daily fluctuations in price have not exceeded a penny so far in 2013. Last January, the daily average moved by a penny or more nine times, including two increases of more than three cents per gallon.
Here, gas prices fell slightly in the Bucks and Montgomery Counties over the week by about 2 cents, which is .2 cents lower than last month and 2.7 cents lower than a year ago.
The price per gallon in Pennsylvania is also down – by about 2 cents – since last week. The national average price of a gallon of self-serve regular is $3.316, while the average locally is $3.456.
Nearby, the cheapest price for regular is $3.46 at Hess on Second Street Pike.
