Did You Send Your Kids to School Today?

Almost all Council Rock School District schools were open today. Did your children go?

Despite some road closures, many residents still without electricity and the school phone lines being down, Council Rock School District announced that all schools but Goodnoe Elementary would open on Friday.

In the comments of the article detailing the announcement and on Northampton Patch's facebook page, many people expressed that Friday was too soon to send students and teachers back to school.

So did your kids go to school today, or did you let them play hooky?

Trick question as there should be a THIRD choose.
Something like ...
Yes. I think it was WAY too soon to resume class with no bussing for some areas, roads blocked, many without power, many still recovery from such an ordeal, many not living in their homes, and a lack of phone service for safety sake - BUT with the school district wrongfully deciding it was somehow safe, smart, all inclusive, and equal to go back to school today (Friday) - AND my child wanting to do the "right" thing - she / we sent her back to school.
Bad decision not inclusive nor equal.
