Did You See UFOs?
Locals reported they saw three to five strange objects hovering over places in Northampton, Warminster and Upper Southampton Townships last night.
Local residents in the Northampton Township and surrounding areas have been tweeting, emailing and Facebooking in reports of strange objects hovering over the area around 7 p.m. last night.
The objects have been described as akin to jumbo jets but noiseless, flying in a diamond formation with green lights.
One local described them as C-17 Globemaster cargo planes, but said it was strange for them to be flying at night and silently.

At around 7 p.m., I was driving east down Street Road, near the Warminster/Upper Southampton border, on my way to a high school soccer game. I just happened to look left and saw 5 triangle shaped objects with green lights at the points. I had my windows open and heard no noise from the objects as they slowly headed toward the Newtown and Levittown area. I believe the large UFOs could have been large military C-17 Globemaster cargo planes, which I have seen flying over the area during the day, but never at night. Maybe someone with more expertise of aircraft could give some input on what was seen in the skies last evening.

I was driving on Almshouse Rd. through Northampton last night around 7 and saw 5 moving "lights" in the sky. They were helicopters. Why there was 5 of them and why they were moving in formation, I don't know but they were definitely helicopters...mostly because they sounded like helicopters.

Helicopters? Perhaps you saw something different because apparently these lights didn't make any noise and helicopters make a terrible racket. I'm more inclined to believe Tom's account of what he saw and what the lights might have been, if not UFOs.
