A local Relay for Life team is hosting a Dance-a-Thon next Friday at the Northampton Township Senior Center.

The American Cancer Society's “Kids Can Make a Change” Relay for Life team is hosting the event on Jan. 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost to attend is $6.

Organizers encourage residents to attend and “dance the night away in honor of those fighting the fight against cancer.”

In addition to the dance party, there will be contests, prizes, snacks, special appearances and more.

Organizers are asking all attendees to wear their craziest purple outfit. A trophy will be awarded to most creative dresser.
