Dozens of artists and musicians will convene this weekend at Tyler Park Center for the Arts for the annual Crafts in the Meadow event.
The two-day juried invitational craft show will be held Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the arts center, which is located within Tyler State Park.
More than 115 artists, sculptors and craftsmen are expected, plus local musicians and hoop dancers. There will also be free family art activities, food and more.
"We're delighted to once again provide two fun-filled days of family festivities, including fine arts and crafts exhibitors, live entertainment, interactive family arts activities, demonstrations, local vendors and delicious foods," said Tyler Park Center for the Arts Director Jennifer Miller.
This year’s show will feature a “sculptors row” where special guest sculptors will discuss inspiration and technique. Other offerings include fine art by Keith Mountford, crystalline pottery by Paul Lorber, jewelry by Diana Contine, and wood turning by Bernard Hohfield. Blacksmith Thomas Turtso and wood turner Michael Kehs will be there as well.
An interactive family art area will feature free craft projects for children and adults, including scarecrow making and multimedia collages.
There will also be live music. This year’s headline performers include Lily Mae, Greg Merkel and JB Kline, among others.
Local non-profit organizations will be on hand, including A Womans Place, Angel Walk, Norwester Readers and Autism Cares.
Tyler Park Center for the Arts is located at the historic Victorian barn (former headquarters of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen), 10 Stable Mill Trail, Richboro.
Adult admission is $6 and children under 12 are free.
