Burglaries, Thefts Among Police Reports

The Northampton Township Police Department released a recent police blotter.

 

In addition to a 19-year-old being cited with public drunkenness, underage drinking and disorderly conduct, police reported to incidents of burglary, theft and more.

Attempted Residential Burglary
200 block of Sycamore Circle

On Friday, Dec. 21 a resident reported having been out of the home between 1:20 and 2 p.m. and returning to find a rear door had been forced open. Nothing was found to be taken from the home, which is located on the 200 block of Sycamore Circle.

Burglary – Residential – Forced
Unit block of Elm Avenue

The property owner of a home on the unit block of Elm Avenue reported finding that sometime after Sept. 15, while she was away, entry had been forced to her home. A small safe containing jewelry and documents was taken from the home.   

Theft
100 block of Bustleton Pike

On Sunday, Dec. 23, while investigating a burglary in the unit block of Elm Avenue an officer spoke with a neighbor whose home is in the 100 block of Bustleton Pike. The neighbor stated he found that sometime during the past week an unknown person stole a coil of copper flashing from the attic of his garage. The coil had an estimated value of $150.

Parking Lot in front of Building 30 Beacon Hill Drive

A lady reported that sometime after 8 p.m. on Dec. 23, her car was spray painted by an unknown actor in the parking lot in front of a building at 30 Beacon Hill Drive. No value was given for the damage.

Theft
3200 block of Weymouth Place

A resident of the 3200 block of Weymouth Place reported his grill, valued at $600, was stolen from his yard sometime between 3 and 4 p.m.

Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts
400 block of Marion Court

The owner of a vehicle parked on the 400 block of Marion Court reported that sometime between Dec. 25 at 11 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 26 an unknown person stole two tires and their rims from his vehicle that was parked by his residence. The items had a combined estimated value of $1,500. 

Theft
Unit block of Sienna Circle

The resident of a homeowner on the unit block of Sienna Circle reported that sometime between 10 p.m. on Dec. 25 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 26 a $45 holiday lawn decoration was stolen from his front yard by an unknown person.

Criminal Mischief
Unit block of Wren Drive

A resident of the unit block of Wren Drive reported that sometime between 8 p.m. on Dec. 25 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 26 her mailbox was damaged after apparently being hit by a baseball bat. Damage was estimated at $25.

Theft
1700 block of Bridgetown Pike

A guest who was attending a party at a home in the 1700 block of Bridgetown Pike on Dec. 21 said she put her purse down and discovered it had been stolen.  The purse contained $400 in cash, and a bank card among other items.
