Best Cup of Coffee in Northampton

Where do you go for that first cup in the morning?

Many of us can't really say we're away unti we have that first cup of coffee. But where's the best place in Northampton Township to grab it on the go?

Some folks just gotta have a Wawa in Richboro, while others head 'round the corner  to the Dunkin Donuts. But what about spots like The Market at Village Shire or the Churchville Deli

Vote for your favorite spot for coffee and remember to click on the links above and rate the business on its Patch Place listing. You can even write a review.

Could Richboro support a nice coffee shop?

Yeah, I think it could if the shop is in the right spot and provides the right atmosphere. I think most people want a decent cup at a reasonable price in a place where you can just sit down and relax. The only problem I see with such a shop is most people aren't attracted to the various strip malls/shopping centers for such a place, they want Main Street with small shops such as State St. in Newtown. That concept has been driven out of Richboro.

I thought the Market at Village Shire closed.

Nope, it's back again with a new interior and some great people running the store. It's good to have it back. And I suggest trying the pizza rolls.

For me it's as much about the vibe as it is about the coffee. Shires gives a nice hometown feeling. I can go to the coffee shop in Peddler's Village for a superior cup of coffee, if spending $6 for a cup makes any sense. But at the Shires I get neighbors running the store and neighbors using the store.

I know I love the atmosphere in Jake's, and it's almost always packed no matter when I stop by.

The dark roast coffee at Manhattan Bagel is more robust than anything at Wawa.

I have to agree with Jenna. If I'm going out for coffee, it's usually with a girlfriend and there's no better place than Jakes to sip coffee and catch up with a friend.
