While school will remain open through the end of the day, after school activities have been cancelled for Council Rock School District due to the changing weather conditions, an alert from the district said.

Co-curricular programs such as sports practices, elementary after-school sports, theatre, music activities and clinic at middle schools and high schools will be cancelled for Tuesday, Nov. 27. However, the KLC/Champions Program will remain open in the elementary schools.

Futhermore, the district said that evening facility use is also cancelled in the buildings. Programs such as Council Rock basketball and other activities scheduled for this evening are cancelled.

Parents should also expect some delays in transportation, the message said.
